I am a little late on postings this Holiday Season! So, due to my tardiness, my new motto for the season will be, "better late than never"! Sorry about the overload you are about to read :/ I have managed to cram about 4 days of events into one post surprisingly!
This years Thanksgiving was REALLY busy! Sunday night before Thanksgiving we had dinner at my mom's. My cousin, Jon, was in town for business and joined us for a great dinner. I was on-call for work and wouldn't you guess I got a call and was late to the feast. Gabby decided to be our entertainment for the evening. She was cute to watch as she is coming up with new things to say each and every day.
Thanksgiving was wonderful and spent with Jeff's parents, sister and our future brother in law along with Grandma and Russ. We also spent some time at my Aunt Jeanine's in the afternoon which is always so much fun!
The day after Thanksgiving my mom's cousins, Holly and Laura, and Aunt Anne(Minga) came from Illinois to visit. Minga is Aunt Anne's nickname and Gabby caught on pretty quick to this trend. She still on occasion will walk around the house saying, "minga minga...I do it again". She really is a riot! Aunt Di and Uncle Mike were in town also. Gabby had a lot of fun hanging out with "my Uncle Mike" as she would say.
Put the tree up, got some shopping done, went out to eat with MaMa Doris, watched some movies...schwooo! A wise co worker once told me, "we shouldn't get caught up in all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season and try to remember what the season is truly about". I am thinking about you Dawn and well...that sounds pretty good about now. Just in case I don't stick to that plan...we still have 15 days until Christmas and SO much to do! Fa la la la la...La la la la!
