Our Old Stompin' Grounds!

Jeff, Gabby and I headed to Terre Haute for a little road trip! The Colts were practicing at Rose Hulman for training camp and Gabby had never been to ISU, so off we went!! It was SUPER hot outside...at least 90+ degrees. I was really worried about Gabby and heat stroke, but she was a real trooper. I don't even think the weather phased her! After only 10-15 minutes at Rose, we realized the Colts weren't practicing much..just throwing the ball a little and taking FOREVER to stretch. So, we decided to head over to campus. We enjoyed playing in the fountain at ISU and took a walk through the commons. They have really done a lot of improvement to the university. Jeff and I kept talking about how we wished they had made these renovations while we were here. New restaurants, bookstore, banks, copy center, you name it! So sad that the bookstore was closed, but they seem to never be open when we come to the Haute...only on Homecoming weekend it seems. Ah well...we will just have to wait until October to stock up on t-shirts and a onesie for Gabby!

Later, we met up with Darren, Jeff's fraternity brother from college, for dinner. We finally made it back home about 8:30pm. What a fun filled day!
