This evening, we decided to show Morris what it was like to go to a restaurant! We went to Steak-n-Shake for dinner. Gabby's Grampy came along with us and we had a great time!
Morris and Gabby decided that they had become just good friends already that they needed to ride in the same car seat! We offered Morris his own seat in the van, but he and Gabby thought riding together would be more fun! On the way, Morris and Gabby sang many songs. "Ring Around the Rosie", "B-I-B-L-E", "Deep and Wide" and "Baby Bumblebee". Gabby also introduced Morris to her favorite country group, "Sugarland". They sang "doo doo doo" all the way to dinner!
Morris loved Steak-n-Shake! He and Gabby colored on the kids menu with crayons, designed a paper car with decal stickers and tried to color oyster crackers with green crayons. Morris ordered grilled cheese, french fries and apples right along with Gabby! It's an all time Steak-n-Shake favorite! Gabby taught Morris how to eat ketchup and now he loves it! Don't worry...Mama Katie made sure our hands and faces were nice and clean before we left.
What a great night! Gabby's Grampy bought our dinner and Morris thought he was a really nice man. He knew last night that Morris was going to be coming to our house and planned to spend time with us. Off we go! It has been a long day...time for baths and then bed.
