Congratulations Mom!

I am so excited for my Mom aka.,Grammy! She closed on her house this morning and it is BEAUTIFUL! Gabby and I stopped over tonight after work to check it out. The place is awesome! Big rooms, great flooring, counters and appliances, modern, very roomy and lots of storage space...everything my mom likes. She has a ton of ideas of things she wants to do and it is so great to see her happy and enthusiastic! With that being said, the neighborhood was having a "meet and eat"(cute)tonight. I decided that I was going to drop her off for the event at the clubhouse on our way out. I pull up and literally feel like I was dropping her off for her first day of Kindergarten(roles reversed here)! She got out of the car with her dessert in her Longaberger basket and headed for the door. Sniff sniff. Just so you know mom, I really wanted to take your picture walking in for the event and post it, but decided that would be a dorky daughter thing to do. I even stopped the car, grabbed my camera, opened the door and yelled your name, but you had already walked in and were being greeted by a nice lady! At that moment I felt at peace, realizing that my mom is happy and so excited about life. What more could I ask for! Love you Mom!

Next up, my Dad's house closing. He has purchased a nice home that is perfect for him too! I am so incredibly happy for my parents. I am happy to be their daughter and finally it seems that things might be falling into place!
