Fun At The Zoo!
On Sunday, Gabby, Grammy and I enjoyed a "sunshiny" day at the zoo! We decided to go in the morning, shortly after they opened. I was shocked to see a long line to get in. I guess I thought more people would hang out at the pool or something? Luckily our season pass lets us go to through a special gate and get free parking too...BONUS...so we were in and at the Ocean exhibit in no time! The Oceans are Gabby favorite part. She could watch the penguins for hours. She also loved to see all the different types of fish in the aquarium. I think they were afraid of her b/c of all the banging on the glass she did! After this we watched the dolphin show. Gabby was mesmerized by the splashing and with the fact that she got to sit all by herself on the bleachers in between Mom and I. This good attention span lasted for about 20 minutes of the show and then she was OVER IT! We hit the plains, water area, and butterfly garden then called it a day. We tried to find this yummy cafe that is owned by own of my sorority sisters that my sis in law, Amy, introduced us to called, "Creation Cafe" downtown, but got turned around and could not locate it. After lunch, closer to home, it was nap time. Grammy bought Gabby a sprinkler and a frog toy from the zoo. Thanks Grammy for spending the day with us and for the great presents!

Hey Katie!
First of all, I LOVE Gabby's dress! So cute!
So here's the website for Creation Cafe (www.indycanal.com) It's at 337 West 11th Street, Indianapolis, 46202. Phone number is : 317-955-2389. If you program it in your phone & give them a call next time, I'm sure they can help you find it...they tend to be pretty nice :-). Or if you're ever off on a week-day that I'm working, I could meet you guys for lunch there & take Gabby on the People Mover Train :-P...
If you & Gabby ever need another zoo buddy on the weekend...I'd LOVE to go with you guys sometime. I haven't been in FOREVER (like before the new water exhibit opened)...and Jason is boycotting the Indy zoo until they get Chimps :-P (his favorite animal).
Looks like you guys had a blast! I hope you have a great week & it was great seeing you guys last Saturday!
I agree with Amy...
Gabby's dress is precious and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her hair pulled back into a pony tail. I really don't know how she does it but she is seriously cuter everyday. How is that possible?
And she looks so much more grown up...like a little girl...not a baby. :-(
Glad y'all had a fun day at the zoo with Grammy.
That cafe is right where we turned around and started heading back on the Ronald Walk. The Kind Tut statue was right there. There is a really nice restaurant in the same building. I think that is the right place?! She looks so grown up in these pics! Wow, are our little girls growing up that fast?! You were brave for letting her play in the water park. When we went not to long ago I refused to let Adalyn play. To many wild kids that parents were not watching!! Look like you 3 had a great day! We need to take the girls together again soon!
I can't believe how fast Gabby is growing. She is so cute! Would love to see you guys sometime.
