Children's Museum...What A Great Day!

Gabby and I had a great day with my friend, Carrie, and her girls yesterday! It was Gabby's first time to the Children's Museum and the first time in about 6 years for me! The museum is under MAJOR construction right now, but we still had a blast! Carrie has a membership and along with that membership comes unlimited carousel rides! This was the highlight of our day!

I think we all rode about 4 times! Gabby and Felicity really loved the dinosour exhibit

and enjoyed playing with some toys out of the Playscape area.

Can you believe that Playscape is under construction as well?!? I was sad, but found later that there are still lots of other things that a 1 1/2 year old can age appropriately do! I accidentally traumatized Gabby once again(I tend to do this unconsciously a lot) with the Star Wars characters! Being that these characters are her dad's childhood heroes; I decided to suprise him with a picture of the crew with Gabby!

I seriously think I scarred her for life. To the point that she woke up about three times crying out in the middle of the night. I think she was having nightmares because of me! Ah well...lots of comforting and now she is practically over the whole thing. Gabby and Felicity enjoyed playing in the race car,

doll houses,

fish aquariums,

and tree house.

Gabby was also mezmerized by the train exhibit. She first, was very into a family taking photos of their son.

We got to go into a real train with seats and windows. Gabby thought this was pretty cool!

When we got to this part of the exhibit, I was not sure if Gabby was truly into the train cars or if she was just getting tired and in a stare,

but she truly watched the trains go round and round for 10 minutes! We enjoyed a nice lunch that totaled 26.00 between all of us. Note to self...take your lunch the next time we go! Gabby was super excited about her dinosaur drink bottle she got!

She has not let go of this thing since she got it! I have refilled it multiple times already!
Let's not forget Baby Jacquelyn! She is such a good baby and barely made any noise all day that we almost forgot to snap pictures of her. I joked and told Carrie that she was like a baby doll strapped in a stroller b/c she required hardly any attention. Here she is being such a good little girl!

What a day with a great friend!

I am blessed beyond belief to have Carrie and her girls in our lives. Felicity and Gabby also love it when they see each other. They squeal and talk in their own language to each other which cracks me up! Thanks Carrie!

Looks like you guys had fun at the museum!

Haha to the Star Wars pic...poor Gabbers :-(. She's going to grow up with the same fear of people in costumes/masks that Aunt Amy has :-P (hopefully not). But rest assured...you're aren't the first parent to snap a picture while your child is screaming hysterically :-P...ask Mom to see the family photos to Disney world when I was like 4 :-P.

The shirts look great! If possible, I will probably come drop off our shirt donation & pick up our shirts sometime in the next week & a half...I'll call you guys to see when works best for you. That way I can wash ours before the 20th.

Hope you guys have had a great weekend!

Oh fun! We thought about going to the Museum today, but ended up bumming around at home instead. Isn't it the greatest place? We're going to try to run/walk on the 20th. I just have to remember to register tomorrow!!!
