We Were Just Waiting For This To Happen...

If I may, I will take just a second to vent! I knew that the day would come where Gabby would either begin biting or would be bitten! I am sad to report it is the latter! Yes, not only once, but three times in a week so far! First it was on the hand, then on the face(yikes)and then back to the hand again! From what I gather, Gabby pretty much drives this child nuts all day which results in he/she biting her. Jeff describes this by saying, "like mother...like daughter". Ha Ha...jerk! :-) All in all, I am pretty impressed with how I am handling this situation! However, I am sure that Jeff would quickly disagree! I just keep reminding myself that our sitter and her helper really are wonderful. Gabby adores them and all of her friends there! I truly am confident that this biting issue will eventually subside. I just hope that Gabby does not learn how to bite others because of this in the meantime! Now hair pulling is a different story! Not only does she practice this activity on her friends at daycare...she managed to pull an elderly ladies hair in the grocery store last week while I was bending down in the isle to get icing off the bottom shelf. I turned around to see the lady bent over with a horrible look on her face and saying, "um...um...she has a good grip" and Gabby giggling of course. Good grief...I was so embarrassed! I have googled--HAIR PULLING every day for a week and still nothing looks like it would be successful. Would love to hear any good ideas that you all may have. Until then, we will just keep on keepin' on and pray for a day without biting...or hair pulling for that matter!

Awww, poor Gabby. Gabriel comes home with an incident report about once a week but it is because he hurts himself by having no fear! haha :)I hope the biting issue is resolved soon!
