Our Baby Girl Is "ONE"!
Gabby had a great birthday! We were definately on the go all day long. Aunt Di came up for the event and spent the whole day with Gabby and I while Daddy and Grandad set up and prepared for the party! We got Gabby's pictures taken in the morning which was a lot of fun! I can't wait to get these back and post them for all to see! We had a great turnout for the "big event". I swear that Gabby acted older on her birthday. It seems to me that she knew it was her big day! She would walk to the door and greet guests as if she knew she were the hostess of the house. She was definately "showing off". Gabby destroyed the cake :-) It was a huge mess. She began eating it like a lady, but by the end she was literally shoveling it into her lap in her high chair. And when people would laugh, she would make it even more enjoyable by attempting to throw the cake at them. Cleaning up was the greatest task. The bathtub water was pink from the icing and when I cleaned out her ears with a q-tip, I pulled out pink icing. Yucky! I am still seeing pink icing in the cracks of her ducky bathtub! All in all, the party was a huge success! Thank you to all of our friends and family for wonderful gifts and company! Jeff and I truly appreciate it!

I can't believe that she is already 1!! That is so crazy. They really do grow up too fast!! She is sooo cute!! Miss ya!!
It was so great being there last Wednesday--thanks for having the party! I can't believe my little neice is 1 now either :-P. When you get a chance, can you email me just a selection of "gabby birthday photos", including some cake ones? That way I can update my digital frame at work with new gabbers photos, since I can't get photos of my neice off of the website when they are in the filmstrip format. :-P The last photos I have of her are from like her 9 month photos or something like that when they were posted on the web. I hope you guys are having a great week and that Gabber's ear is feeling better!! Thanks Katie!
