On Saturday, Mom called us in Nashville to tell us that Gabby had gotten her first tooth! After being shocked/upset that I had missed this event, I realized that it was probably good that Jeff and I were away because then we could not argue over who saw it first! So, we just let the grandparents take the credit for this "1st"! Then, Gabby shocked Jeff and I on Tuesday evening when she thought she would show us her most recent moves. As you can see, she is practically on all fours attempting to crawl. She has been really paying attention to her friends at daycare and watching them crawl, walk, etc. We assume that she is trying to be just like them which is a GREAT thing! So, most of Tuesday evening was spent on the floor encouraging Gabby to "take off" and crawl. Jason, our college friend from Texas, was in town and stayed at our house. It was so funny to see all three of us on the floor with Gabby encouraging her by saying, "come on Gabby, go..go..do it..do it". She just looked at us and smiled! She'll get the hang of it soon I'm sure! You Go Gabby!

What Gabby needs now is a giant hug and kiss from Aunt Carey :) She's so darn cute....and strong! She's going to be all over your house in no time. Looks like you and Jeff had fun in Nashville!
