It has been two years......

Two years ago today, we lost our precious Ellie! It is so hard to believe every year that she is gone! I'm not sure if any of you noticed or not, but Mariah Carey was featured on American Idol last night. At the beginning of the show, "the idols" sang her song, "one sweet day"! This song talked about being together in heaven one day and how somone is shining down on me from heaven! I was so touched to hear this at that particular moment. I truly felt at peace! I know that our baby girl is in heaven watching over us everyday. She was there when Gabby was born and she is there when we feel both heartache and happiness! She is guiding and protecting us in our everyday adventures and we are forever grateful for the time we had with her! She has made me a better, stronger person. I have a different outlook on life because of her and this was all apart of the original plan....I just know it! It has taken me two years to realize that things do happen for a reason in life and I would definately not be where I am today without having her! As you can see, Gabby enjoyed some time in Ellie's memorial garden last night while Mommy worked at weeding it a little bit. We talked this morning about Ellie and how special she is to us! She grinned so big! This leads me to believe that she definately knows that this person is a huge part of our life! This day every year is so hard. However, each year we realize a little more and trust a little more that God will provide and only give us what we can handle! He promises us this!!
