We learned last week that Gabby officially is in need of tubes! I am sort of excited(as sad as this sounds)considering that this is her 5th chronic ear infection! She actually has only been free of antibiotics for her ear infections for two weeks of her entire life! The ENT took one look at her ears last Thursday and 5 seconds later explained that she is in need of tubes...badly. This was the shortest appointment that we have had so far!!! He thinks that her hearing might even be compromised a little too! He says that she is hearing to the equivalence of what it would be like when two people are talking under water! So sad... :( So, Wednesday is the big day! The ENT wanted to do this as soon as Monday, but due to work issues and scheduling, we had to wait until Wednesday. I have been told by many people that our lives will be so much better and Gabby will feel so great after having her first set of tubes! The ENT swears that we will spend less time at the pediatrician's office. Yeahhh...considering just last week we were there three times! So, wish us luck! I am scared to death! It is only local anesthesia(the mask I believe)and you would think that I am the strongest person with surgeries considering how many Ellie had in her short time with us, but this is not the case at all! I am sick about it! I will let everyone know how Gabby does! Here are some pictures from the weekend! With a terrible earache...she is still going strong!!

GOOD LUCK! Hope the tubes work wonders!
Thanks! I'm sure she will feel much better when it is all said and done!
She'll do fantabulously :-). Just remember she's going to feed off of your stress level...so if you're acting scared, she'll act scared. All and all this is probably going to be way more traumatic for you than her when it's all said and done :-P, because she'll be sure to feel much better afterwards.
hang in there! And Good Luck and hugs and kisses to my Little Gabbykinz!!! Hopefully I can see you guys sometime soon :-).
PS---I love the picture of her sitting cross legged in the boppy! I'm so stealing that off of the site. She looks like a Little Lady sitting there all prim and proper...:-D
Good luck Gabby! You will feel so much better. Gabriel says 'Hi'.
Thanks for the encouragement for no heartbeat :) I knew it was probably normal. Probably because they can't probe through my skin. HA HA HA! Hope you guys are super!!!
