I love my new job....I love my new job!

I am so excited to yell it out to the world that...I LOVE MY NEW JOB! As many of you know, I transfered from working in the largest county in the state to our little county(well not really little, but smaller)!!! I am happy to report that I LOVE IT!! I could not be happier where I am at and have even mentioned to the staff that if they ever want to "get rid" of me, they will have to literally throw me out to the curb because I am never leaving. Unless, of course, we move with Jeff's job or I am able to stay at home or something one day(wink, wink)! The staff is WONDERFUL and have really welcomed me into the office and community! They work so hard and are really knowledgable! I truly feel like I know why I chose to work in this profession and feel like I am making a difference in our community and have a purpose in the lives of children. I have never felt this way before moving to this county! Yay! Not to mention....daycare is going great! Gabby is making great progress and loves the smaller in-home daycare environment! She is also learning a lot of things from "the big kids"! She is almost ready to crawl due to the fact that I went to put her on her belly last night and she straightened her arms out as if she was wanting to crawl. We are really in trouble once she gets mobile...let me tell ya! The drive to work is only 15 minutes which means that I am able to be home and ready to begin our evening by 5:30pm. This was never heard of before! So, just an update and great news finally from our end of the job issue! It definately has not always been peaches and cream when it came to all of the driving I was doing and the stress in a large county! Have A Great Week!

I'm so glad you're so happy there! We miss you tons here, but it sounds like you made a perfect decision for you and your family. I think I'll come down there too :)

Will you really? I wish this so much that I would go as far as saying that Jeff and I would probably pay for your second house payment to move you all here so that I could work with you everyday again!! The girls could go to the same daycare! :)
