Gabby is officially sitting by herself now....for real this time! As you can see, Gabby was all decked out in her "green" for St. Patty's Day! We really think that her new daycare is working wonders with her because she has turned into "Miss Thing" since beginning on Monday! We came home on Monday from daycare and I put her on the floor and sat her up. I let go of her waiting for her to throw herself backwards like usual and for once...it did not occur!!! She sat up straight all by herself and looked at me and smiled like a little lady! Ever since this day, Gabby has been sitting! Hoooray! Yesterday, she sat for 10 minutes straight! I sat her up on a blanket in the living room and went into the kitchen to do dishes. I checked on her periodically and when I was finished and walked back in...she was still sitting! We are so excited!! Now we are nervous though because this means that more activity is right around the corner! Ya know...crawling,scooting, pulling up, etc! As you can see below, Gabby's outfit was accompanied by a cute little hat! Too bad it looks more like a "beanie" because it does not fit her head!!!

Good for you Gabby - Her St. Patty's day outfit is so cute. My kids have big heads too...maybe they share that gene.

Carey, good to know that Gabby is not the only one that had this problem. I was getting kind of nervous!!! Happy Easter to your families Carey and Taryn!!!
How cute is she...sitting!! Yes, if it is a girl, I would be HAPPY to take any donations!! :) So glad to see Gabby is doing great. :) We will find out May 14th what the baby is....boy or girl. But, I too think it just might be a girl! :)
