Oh Happy Day...

On Monday, Gabby and I traveled to Zionsville to do some shopping.  I have lived in Indiana my whole life and had yet to experience the town of Zionsville.  I knew a person in college that was from this town, had maybe heard the shopping was great...but completely fell in love with this place when we pulled into town!

Our purpose of the small trip you wonder?  To check out a boutique called, "Jack and Jill".  I had a gift certificate to use and it was completely burning a hole in my wallet.  I really pumped Gabby up for our "special day together" and our time we were going to spend together.  I know we spend every day together but this was special because we were calling it a small trip!  We were going to the "shopping store" as Gabby calls it.  I have created a huge shopping Diva...Daddy loves me for that right honey!?[insert: batting of the eyes].  :)

I told Gabby, about 15 minutes into going crazy over this cute boutique, that if she obeyed Mommy we would get some ice cream and walk around a bit.  She was "pretty" good if you consider standing in the stage window of the store posing and making faces at people as they walked by "pretty" good.  I do.

So off we went, after purchasing our cute goods, to the ice cream parlor!  It was closed for some reason and this created a HUGE crying spell for G.  I promised we would find ice cream somewhere on that day and was NOT holding up my end of the bargain...uh oh.  However, then we found a sweet old lady and her dog for Gabby to play fetch with and we were good as new!

As we were walking down the cute red brick streets of Zionsville, hand in hand with my little girl, I could not help but think how truly blessed I am to be where I am in life. I always get so afraid to express, in writing that is, how blessed I am.  Partially because I am afraid that if I "boast" about it ,per say, that it could come back to haunt me?  I know...sounds crazy.  But then again, my only purpose for doing so is to praise Jesus as often as I can.  After all, he and my wonderful husband are the reasons behind creating this life for me.  Thank You Jesus and Thank You Jesus for blessing me with the most amazing husband in the world!

And then on the way home, as promised, we found Ice Cream.  Well...Frozen Yogurt from the Red Mango.  Plain with ghirardelli chocolate pieces for G and pumpkin spice with graham cracker for me...MmMmMmmm!

Admiring...

Tasting...

Allowing Mommy to Taste...

Success!
 I Love Her So Much!

Life Is Good!
xoxo, Katie
